FAQ

Will paramedics actually look at my bracelet?

Medical alert jewellery is widely recognised. Responders are trained to look for medical ID, and the wrist is one of the first places they check. A clear engraving and the universal medical symbol make the information easy to see at a glance.

What does the bracelet say?

It depends on the bracelet you choose: BLOOD THINNER, TYPE 1 DIABETES, TYPE 2 DIABETES or ELIQUIS, always with the universal medical symbol. Simple, clear and easy to read.

My phone already has my medical info. Why a bracelet?

A phone can be locked, out of battery or left in another room. A bracelet stays on your wrist and needs no unlocking.

Do I need to choose a size?

No. Both bracelets come in one size. The slim bracelet has a 17 cm chain with a 4 cm extender and fits most wrists. If it doesn't fit, you have 60 days to return it for a full refund.

Can I shower or swim with it?

The stainless steel parts resist water, but we recommend taking the leather bracelet off for showers and swimming to keep it looking its best.

Why would I buy more than one?

Many customers buy one for themselves and one for a partner or parent on the same medication, or keep a second one for travel.

How much is delivery and how long does it take?

Tracked UK delivery is free on 2 or more bracelets and £3.95 for a single bracelet. It usually takes 5–10 working days.

Can I return it?

Yes. You have 60 days from delivery to ask for an exchange or a full refund. See our Shipping & Returns page.

Is this a medical device?

No. Medicuff bracelets are an identification accessory. They do not replace medical advice. Always follow your doctor's advice about your medication or condition.
